Whole Grain Summit is excited to offer a pre-meeting workshop at the Wheat Marketing Center in Portland, OR on Monday, June 22 and Tuesday, June 23 (registration and additional fee required). The whole grain product workshop will provide the participants a hands-on experience to produce different types of popular products with whole-grain raw materials and functional ingredients.
The products include Asian noodle, steamed bread, pan bread, flour tortilla, flat bread, and snack cracker. In addition, the participants will learn the latest research results on the quality improvement of whole-grain products with special milling techniques and functional ingredients. The workshop will be directed by Dr. Gary Hou, Technical Director and Wheat Food Specialist, Wheat Marketing Center, Portland, Oregon, and assisted by several industry experts on different subjects.
